Reliant Community Federal Credit Union is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to work in our Sodus Location. This position is responsible for the creation and implementation of internal and external marketing and communications materials. Writes copy and designs publications, press releases, and all marketing materials. Responsible for the implementation of promotions, including research for targeted campaigns. Works closely with staff in the marketing department and other affected departments to develop effective promotional campaigns and support materials consistent with the credit union image. Coordinates credit union special event planning. An AAS degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field and one to three years of related work experience; or three to five years experience in related field desired. A working knowledge of computer design/desktop publishing, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software required. Experience using Marketing Consumer Information File (MCIF) along with familiarity with HTML and other website programming software preferred. Marketing Project Assistant
Municipal Credit Union (NYC). Assist in providing administrative, clerical and promotional support for the Marketing Dept. Provide administrative support to marketing department staff. Responsible for updating plasma screens. Responsible for traffic coordination of advertising - as requested. Maintain inventory and coordinate the external ordering of marketing materials, promotional items, etc. Assist in supporting monthly branch bulletins and News Notes statement insert initiatives. Direct external shipping of marketing materials. Liaison between internal departments to request and obtain information pertinent to upcoming promotions, etc. Assist in marketing internet research on special assignments as required. Complete ad-hoc assignments in a timely manner. Special projects and other duties as assigned. Undergraduate degree desired in marketing related field. Two plus years administrative experience preferably within a Marketing environment. Team player.
Excellent organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and complete ad-hoc assignments in a timely manner.
