U.S. and New York State Credit Union Statistics
Many employers find that credit unions can help employees make their wages go farther—through more attractive rates on loans and savings accounts—and can create a sense of community among employees. Even career goals can be furthered through credit union membership. The officers and members of the Boards of Directors of credit unions are volunteer credit union members. Employees, who wish to expand their skills in accounting, marketing, even HR, can learn and grow through the volunteer opportunities available in their credit union.
