2008 Recognition Awards Nomination Forms
The credit union movement seems to have more than its share of people willing to give a little extra, do a little more. Is there someone in the credit union movement whom you admire? Someone who has achieved notable successes, or embodies the credit union "people helping people" philosophy? If so, now is the time to act.
Review the awards categories below, complete a nomination form, and send it in by May 8, 2008. Imagine how much one of these awards would mean to your colleague!
Outstanding
VolunteerDescribe how the nominee has contributed to the credit union (e.g., initiated new and improved services, activities, or programs).
Nomination Form Outstanding Professional Summarize how the nominee has contributed to the credit union (e.g., initiated new or improved services, activities, or programs; participated in community involvement; was involved in professional development or other activities that promote credit unions at the local, state, or national level).
Nomination Form NY Credit Union
Hall of FameSummarize how the nominee has significantly impacted credit unions on the local, state, or national level. Include outstanding contributions, (e.g., community involvement activities, professional development, League participation, and years of service). Also include an explanation of how this person’s life efforts have been instrumental in improving and promoting credit unions and the credit union movement.
Nomination Form Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action For this award, two years of financial statements, NCUA 5300 Call Reports, or equivalent are required. Please include all promotional materials, descriptions, and photos of projects and events with your entry form.
Nomination Form Dora Maxwell
Social ResponsibilityFor this award, please include all promotional material, descriptions, and photos of projects and events with your entry form. Nomination Form Desjardins Youth Financial Education Award Credit unions that can demonstrate a significant commitment to youth financial education should apply. This commitment might be shown by such efforts as encouraging and supporting classroom education, sponsoring in-school branching, or conducting youth programs at a credit union. Thoroughly documenting programs that further the cause of youth financial education and showing results will best qualify a credit union.
