On September 10, 2007, the Long Island chapter of the New York State Credit Union League held its annual golf outing at Bellport Country Club to benefit Good Shepherd Hospice. Following the event, LI Chapter President Michael Egan (left)-(Nassau Educators FCU), presented a $10,000 check to the organization’s Senior Development Officer Jovanna Little (second from right). The Long Island chapter of the New York State Credit Union League and Good Shepherd Hospice are strongly aligned in their mission and dedication in supporting all communities in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Teachers FCU opened two-full service branch offices on the same day,
December 4 – one in Smithtown (top) and one in Riverhead (bottom).
Both branches offer 24-hour ATMs and free coin machine service for
members.

honor the contributions and efforts made by Congressman Tim Bishop

Members of Nassau Educators FCU’s (NEFCU) Community Involvement
Committee get ready to present a check for $11,631 to the Muscular
Dystrophy Association (MDA). The monies for the donation, which made
it possible for 19 area children to participate in MDA’s 2006 summer
camp program, were raised from the sale of MDA Joy of Life Sun
Mobiles at NEFCU’s branch offices. For their efforts, the credit
union received MDA’s Summer Camp Champ Award.

A unique partnership between Teachers FCU (TFCU) and Dowling College
made it possible for eight TFCU employees to take graduate courses
at the credit union’s headquarters after work. The group received
