(July 7 - Albany, NY) – The Credit Union Association of New York recently received a first place Pro & Blockbuster Award and five honorable mention awards from the Credit Union National Association at its 31st annual awards luncheon in Washington, DC.
The first place award was in the Best Credit Union Sales Promotion category and recognized the Association’s Want a Quarter Percent Off of Your New Mortgage campaign, which was created for affiliate CUC Mortgage.
The honorable mention awards were bestowed in the following categories:
Best League Publication – Newsletter – League Lines (now The Point), the Association’s weekly newsletter that delivers up-to-the-minute industry information pertinent to member credit unionsBest League Publication – Magazine – Connection, a four-color quarterly publication that reports the latest trends in technology, finance, politics and compliance affecting credit unions, and the people behind the movement Best Campaign – The Credit Union Association of New York’s statewide Credit Union Awareness Campaign: CreditUnionsForYou.com Best Sales Promotion – Covera Card Solutions/CO-OP Network cooperative advertising campaign, which focused on flexibility Best Print Materials: Three or More Colors – 2007 UsNet Annual Report "It’s an honor to receive this recognition," said William J. The Pro & Blockbuster Awards is an annual national competition that recognizes excellence in public relations, marketing and advertising within the credit union industry.
