League Presents Awards At Annual Convention

(August 7 - Latham, NY) – The New York State Credit Union League’s Annual Convention culminated Wednesday, August 1 with an awards luncheon that recognized credit unions and volunteers alike. Credit Unions: The Odds on Favorite was the theme as hundreds of participants gathered in Saratoga Springs for the four-day event that coincided with the first week of the famed Saratoga Racetrack’s 2007 season.

"Convention, given the number of fellow credit unionists that gather at this event, is the perfect time to acknowledge and applaud our credit union members," said William J. Mellin, League president and CEO. "When you add in the location, facilities, speakers and everything else Convention has to offer, you have a truly memorable event."
