(October 27- Albany, NY) –Just in time for the gift giving season and holiday feasting, the Credit Union Association of New York is happy to announce the forthcoming publication of its second CUPAC fundraising cookbook, Credit Union Traditions.
With more than 200 new recipes provided by credit unions from all across New York, Credit Union Traditions is guaranteed to keep anyone cooking great meals throughout the holidays and beyond. This 120-page collection of well-loved recipes covers appetizers, beverages, soups, salads, main and side dishes, and dessert favorites.
The cookbook also includes, measurement charts, tips on napkin folding, a spice guide and more. Professionally designed and produced, this one-of-a-kind cookbook features a spiral-bound format, which lies flat for the “chef’s” convenience, and an easy-wipe cover.
Interest in the cookbook ran high right from the first announcement, driving print numbers to 3,000 copies.
Proceeds from the cookbook benefit the Association’s Credit Union Political Action Committee (CUPAC), which provides non-partisan contributions to pro-credit union New York State and local political candidates. Contributions to CUPAC are not tax-deductible and strictly voluntary.
“That this project supports our PAC is very important, especially in light of the politically charged climate credit unions are facing today,” said William J. Mellin, president/CEO of the Credit Union Association of New York.
